This is where it all started. The process of creating the paintings found in this room provided a vehicle for much needed re-centering. Frustration was the catalyst. The objective was simple - to put color on paper. To assume autonomy, to make ALL the decisions, to affect nothing and no one beyond the white textured paper. Yet the artist would be forever change by the decisions.

Eden’s Garden was painted on commission and sparked by a viewing of Maya’s Stars. The whimsical, magical landscape displays lolly-pop trees, and lively, energetic wildflowers. The scene is active and giddy, perhaps wildly overtired at dusk, with the night’s stars beginning to appear in the upper left corner of the sky.
The original painting now hangs in a collection in Westchester, New York. A limited number of high quality, full size prints are available for purchase.
